How SMS-based Call Back works
When you want to make an international long distance call, you will first send a
SMS message containing your card number, call back number, and destination
number to a SMS number assigned to you.
The Call Back IVR Server/Switch reads the SMS message sent by you and uses that
information to call you at the call back number (this is the First Leg of the
Call Back Call).
When you answer the incoming call from the Call Back IVR Server/Switch, you will
hear a voice message like “You have 5 dollars and 31 cents.”
The Call Back IVR Server/Switch dials the Destination Number (this is the Second
Leg of the Call Back Call) and then bridges the First Leg call and the Second
Leg call together for a telephone conversation to take place.
How Access Number-based (DID) Call Back works
When you want to make an international long distance call, you will first dial a
unique telephone number assigned to you to reach the Call Back IVR
Server/Switch to trigger a call back call to a pre-determined telephone number.
After you dial the unique telephone number and hear a response tone (either busy
or ring), you should hang up the telephone right away. (There is no charge for
this call because it is unanswered.) The Call Back IVR Server/Switch reads the
unique telephone number dialed by you and uses it to identify you and then call
you back at the pre-determined telephone number (this is the First Leg of the
Call Back Call).
When you answer the incoming call from the Call Back IVR Server/Switch, you will
hear a voice message like “You have 5 dollars and 31 cents. Please enter your
destination number followed by the # key” played by the Call Back IVR
Server/Switch. You should dial the destination number and #.
The Call Back IVR Server/Switch takes note of the Destination Number dialed by
the you and then dials the Destination Number (this is the Second Leg of the
Call Back Call) and then bridges the First Leg call and the Second Leg call
together for a telephone conversation to take place.
How Web-based Call Back works
When you want to make an international long distance call, you will first login
to this call back web site, click the Make a Call Now button, and enter the
call back number and destination number.
The Call Back IVR Server/Switch reads the web request sent by you and uses that
information to call you at the call back number (this is the First Leg of the
Call Back Call).
How Calling Number-based (ANI) Call Back works
When you want to make an international long distance call, you will first use a
mobile phone to dial an access number assigned to you to reach the Call Back
IVR Server/Switch to trigger a call back call to a pre-determined telephone
number.
After you dial the access number and hear a response tone (either busy or ring),
you should hang up the telephone right away. (There is no charge for this call
because it is unanswered.) The Call Back IVR Server/Switch reads the telephone
number dialed by you and your calling number and uses them to identify you and
then call you back at your telephone number (this is the First Leg of the Call
Back Call). It can call you back at the telephone number you called from,
or it can call you back at a different telephone number set in your account.
How HTTP-based Call Back works
When you want to make an international long distance call, you will
(a) if WAP service is available: run the browser on the mobile
handset and go to "wap.httpcall.com/callnow.aspx", enter the destination
number,
call back number and card number, and click
"call now".
or
(b) if you use Java facility: run Java - Airello service, enter the destination
number,
call back number and card number, and click
"send".
The Call Back IVR Server/Switch reads the http request sent by you and uses that
information to call you at the call back number (this is the First Leg of the
Call Back Call).
When you answer the incoming call from the Call Back IVR Server/Switch, you will
hear a voice message like "You have 5 dollars and 31 cents."
The Call Back IVR Server/Switch dials the Destination Number (this is the Second
Leg of the Call Back Call) and then bridges the First Leg call and the Second
Leg call together for a telephone conversation to take place.
How Email-based Call Back works
When you want to make an international long distance call, you will first send
an email containing your card number, call back number, and destination
number to an email address of the service platform.
The Call Back IVR Server/Switch reads the email sent by you and uses that
information to call you at the call back number (this is the First Leg of the
Call Back Call).
When you answer the incoming call from the Call Back IVR
Server/Switch, the Call Back IVR Server/Switch dials the Destination Number (this is the Second
Leg of the Call Back Call) and then bridges the First Leg call and the Second
Leg call together for a telephone conversation to take place.
